The Mike Commander Shooting Range is located on Chickasawhatchee Wildlife Management Area in Dougherty County. The WMA also includes Mike Commander Archery Range.
Mike Commander Shooting Range reopened on March 31, 2021 after a complete renovation of the 25-yard pistol range and 200-yard rifle range. The range also offers a classroom that seats around 40 participants reserved for hunter education classes, organizational programs and training, and much more.
Please note that Green Tip or armor piercing ammo is not allowed at the range.
Please watch the required range safety video before heading out to your local range as they can have little to no cell reception. Follow the steps below to complete the required form.

Directions
From Albany: From the intersection of Highway 91 (Newton Road) and Highway 243 (Oakridge Road), travel south on Highway 91 approximately 4.7 miles. Turn right on Highway 62 (Leary Road) and travel west 11.6 miles. Turn left at the intersection of Highway 62 and Pine Island Road onto dirt WMA access road. Travel 0.3 miles to the range.
